GRADUATION CEREMONY - ACADEMIC TRADITION
CEMBA graduation follows the tradition of a full Canadian Graduation Ceremony for all students who successfully complete their program with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. This gala event usually takes place at SGH.
Traditionally this academic event starts late in the afternoon and has the following agenda:
- Polish and Canadian anthems sung by SGH - Warsaw School of Economics choir;
- Welcome - Rector of SGH- Warsaw School of Economics;
- Speeches delivered by: the ESG-UQAM authorities and SGH- Warsaw School of Economics authorities;
- Conferring of the MBA degrees together with the presentation of special awards;
- Address held by the student's valedictorian;
- Keynote address by the guest speaker;
- Closing remarks from SGH- Warsaw School of Economics authorities;
- Choral songs.
After the ceremony ex graduates together with their friends and families are invited to the reception at the SGH - Warsaw School of Economics premises like the Professors Club "Jajko" in the main building.
