Professor Michel Librowicz
Prof. Michel Librowicz is the Program Director for the CEMBA Program on behalf of ESG-UQAM. He served as Dean of the Faculty of Management at ESG-UQAM (1978-1980) and was the founder and Dean of the Faculty of International Trade at ESG-UQAM (1985-2008). He is deeply involved in the academic content of the program and is a member of the Program Council. Along with the MBA Program Director at UQAM, the Polish Program Director, and recommendations from the Program Committee, Prof. Librowicz contributes to the continuous development and updates of the curriculum, including the introduction of new topics and the selection of faculty. He also reviews faculty evaluations and is responsible for replacing underperforming faculty members.
His duties include overseeing matters related to international faculty, including the content of their lectures and performance evaluations. With over 30 years of teaching experience, including at the MBA level, Prof. Librowicz has taught at various institutions abroad, such as in the USA, Mexico, and China, with his main affiliation being UQAM. He also has extensive experience in delivering business training programs.
Prof. Librowicz has held the position of Director of the Philippe Pariseault Chair for Training in Agri-Food Market Globalization since 1995. Since 1978, he has served as President of Promexport Canada, an export-import and consulting firm. He has also worked as a consultant for Lipos International in New York and as the Director of Imports at Dispan Co Inc. in NY.
